How to Rename Recycle Bin in Windows 7 using Registry editor.

Hi guys welcome back to worldtech360. In this tutorial i am gonna show you how to rename the recycle bin.First of all going into the tutorial have you ever tried to rename it,if not i will tell you how to rename it by using Registry editor.

Steps to rename the Recycle bin:

1.Open Run by pressing windows+R and type regedit (I recommend you to run this with Administrative rights).

2.Now a window will pop up.From it select HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.

In the registry window select HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

3.Browse for CLSID from the list as shown.

4.Now look for "645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E" in CLSID and click on it.

5.Right click on the "Localizedstring" from the right side and click on modify.

6.Now a small box will pop up.Replace "@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-8964" this with your name or any desired name and press "OK".

7.Refresh your desktop in order for the change to occur and you will see your name for the recycle bin.

8.In order to get the original name of the recycle bin,copy the code in step 6 and past it in localizedstring and press ok.
